Climate Change

We believe it is our responsibility to care for the environment we live in and be in harmony with it. The irresponsible and indulgent lifestyle choices and consumerist attitude particularly of the developed countries often lead to suffering in the developing countries and it is this that we need to address. We focus on unlearning the norm and encourage others to do the same through our events.

During the event, Sheikh Haytham Tamim presented on the topic “Climate Change and Environment” in an Islamic perspective.

Our younger members also presented their findings on climate change and explored our responsibilities and avenues for improvement as the dominant inhabitants of the earth, inspiring us all. Children shared ideas of recycling, upcycling, minimalism and sustainability in everyday life.
